looks like another very intriguing grid going on here!
Very enjoyable. I particularly liked 11 down. A few, like 21 down and 24 down set me off in many wrong directions, but got there in the end. Not sure if I have explained 2 down correctly.
Maggie I also struggled with those clues, however 2 d is two words combined into one
I puzzled over parsing of 28a. 30 a, 5d, as well as the above.
Eventually put my mind into :Stickler gear” and all was revealed (I hope)
