The Stickler Weekly in Recovery

Due to minor surgery late last week, The Stickler Weekly, previous solution, and Insight will be delayed by one week. Recovery has been more difficult than expected, limiting my ability to work at a computer.

A friend, who recently had surgery, took me to the hospital and told me this story when I asked him about how to keep myself occupied while waiting for the process to happen:

“I took in a crossword (non-cryptic) and pen and was allowed to keep it even after all my clothes and belongings had been packed away and sealed. It went with me into the anaesthesia area where staff were keen to help me out with answering clues. When I woke up after surgery, the crossword was at the end of the bed all filled in”

I wonder how they would have gone with The Stickler Weekly?

Best and thanks

David
