I finally understand 14a. Veeery sneaky, but totally accurate. This one had many of us going. I knew it had to be the l, which fitted with type, but I could not see the relevance of tall until the flash tonight when I saw the height of the letters.
If I really squint, think I can just see 14a…………!!!
Like a high rise in a residential street.
David, please tell me what it is if I am wrong.
Arthur – yes, you’re right. “l” is the tall letter in “male”.
